What We Do
Educational
workshops
Public Domain Foundation has developed an effective curriculum to both introduce how songs have effected social change and to help artists create and promote such music. Click here for more about our inaugural workshop at the 2004 Northeast Regional Folk Alliance conference.
Public Domain Foundation seeks to sponsor additional workshops at other conferences and music festivals every year. Click here to join our mailing list.
Next Generation Programs
We are interested in cultivating a new generation of musically inclined artists. To this end, we have sponsored a "Musical Expedition" designed to introduce young children to the orchestra.

DJX
(Connecting DJs to the Music of Change)
We are working on a program to effectively connect our top Music to Life artists with DJs around the country who have an interest in songs of social significance. We plan to pilot this outreach effort in 2006. Click here to join our mailing list.

Artist & Nonprofit
Links
Via artist songs and outreach, Public Domain
Foundation links songs of social significance
(as identified through our Music to Life Contest
and Concert) with nonprofits of similar mission.
In this way, artists' songs can impact the
very cause for which they were written and
nonprofits have a powerful educational and
social change tool.

between artists, their songs and nonprofit causes.
Are you a nonprofit that could use high quality,
cause-related music for your next fundraising
or educational campaign, or for an informational
video or rally? Click here to join our mailing
list.
Are you an artist that would like to see your
songs live beyond the venues in which they're
performed? Click here for more information about
our next Music to Life Contest and Concert.
